Question by baseballguy: What does your pain feel like with a herniated disc in the thoracic spine, thoracic herniation?
I know that in the middle of the thoracic spine it can mimic heart problems, bandlike pain going around to the chest, and it can cause your arms to feel weak or have tingling sensations but:
Does this pain come and go throughout the day?
Does it feel better in the morning than any other part of the day?
Does it seem to be worse at night when laying on the stomach or when not being active?
Just trying to get an idea what others are experiencing with thoracic herniation. Thank you.

I have a sharp, uncomfortable pain under my ribcage. It’s not a constant pain but I get it once or twice a week. It’s just in the middle of my abdomen like if you start from your sides and trace the bottom of your ribs up to where they meet the pain is just under where my ribs meet on my right side. What could that be?

You have pinched back muscles causing that pain for they are sending the pains around your body on the nerves to be pains in the rib, chest or heart areas. To get rid of the pain you have to free up your back muscles and here’s how to free them up:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

I saw this in an anime this person injected someone with an egg yoke tricking them into thinking it was vitamins, it made me curious on what the medical side effects of injecting a foreign substance would be?
So does anyone know what it would do to you medically?
Either way it most probably can’t be good lol
Oh and the person in the anime that got injected with the yoke collapsed and is in intensive care, I wonder if that would happen? In the anime they called it “Anaphylaxis” is that right?

Injecting any foreign substance into your body, thereby bypassing the natural filtration process of the body is dangerous even if it is medication, often especially if it is medication.

Question by lucysmom: What should I do about pain in a tooth with a temporary crown?
I had the temporary crown put in last week, and it will be in place for 3 weeks while I am waiting for the permanent crown to be made. I started having toothache type pain in this tooth 3 days after the procedure. Tylenol and Alleve completely resolve the pain, but I have to take it on schedule, or the pain returns. Do I need to call my dentist? What will he do?

If you have taken Yaz, how long does it take for the “treatment of acne” to take place, through your experience?
Plus, just birth control in general, how long does it take for you to be safe to have sex without condoms, spermicides, etc.?

For best results, oral contraceptives are used in conjunction with other acne treatments, such as topical retinoids, or benzoyl peroxide.
When started within 6 days of the start of a period, The Pill is effective immediately. If the Pill is started at other times, it will be effective after one month.
Bear in mind, the pill only keeps you safe from pregnancy, not STDs!
