i have dry skin around my navel piercing, what can i use to get rid of it?
Posted by: | CommentsI’ve had my navel pierced since october (thats about 3 months now). it looks pretty healed, the redness is gone (although i am still scared to change it, so therefor i haven’t attempted to). there is just one thing bugging me. its really dry. i clean it about once a night before i go to bed with the band-aid wash (its not anti bacterial, its just to use instead of soap and water (i am allergic to certain things companies put into soaps), its pretty much the same as soap and water, but without having to take a shower (i do take showers, but not at night). anyways aside that. its dry, you can pull the piercing in and out, but u can feel theres a light pull to doing so, its hard to tell but you need to slightly put a little more pressure. also around the top half just a little dry skin, nothing horrible. what can i use that is safe and affective to relieve the dryness?
Anti-Bac Skin Wash by Dermalogica was the only facial cleanser that ever worked on my sensitive and acne prone skin. Then they discontinued it. Is there any other face wash that is similar, or that is good for SENSITIVE, DRY and ACNE skin? Its a different combonation than the norm…
