or are we at the mercy of Big Pharma and the almighty dollar? If you have subpar health insurance, or no insurance, are you basically screwed? Or can we buy it on the black market? Or on Ebay?

Just steal it. They’re about to inoculate all first responders in our city. So hit an EMT over the head, steal his/her uniform, paste your own picture on their hospital badge, and GET YOUR *** INOCULATED FOR FREE!

I’m sure Big Pharma has worked around the clock to produce as much Tamiflu as we can possibly eat.
Of course I’m nearly as sure that Big Pharma also is connected to the hype about the flu this year. Whether Tamiflu is actually effective or not, I’m sure doctors will prescribe it by the bucketfuls to the scores of whining patients clamoring for it.

Tamiflu isn’t really having a noticeable impact on H1N1 from what I’ve heard and read. It’s actually pretty useless with regard to this particular virus. All anyone can do is follow the tried and true steps for controlling symptoms while letting it run its course. Here’s a news flash – the flu is a VIRUS. There is NO cure. At most, symptoms can be controlled with Tylenol and lots of fluids. It doesn’t matter what insurance anyone has. The flu has no cure.

i would not worry too much about the epidemic that has no indication of happening. There is nothing to fear about this except fear itself.
Get a nice restful evening. H1N1 armageddon is not going to happen. it is a figment of the media to sell air time and newspapers.

You can eat right, get plenty of sleep, vitamin D and vitamin C. You don’t need the shot. It isnt a guarantee that you wont get sick. But it is a guaranteed that you will be injected with mercury. Which is the second most toxic element on the planet.

haha. just take 4000mg of vitamin C and 5000 iu of vitamin D each day ( eat high quality foods, and get plenty of sleep) this fall/winter, and you should be fine.

The approaching epidemic is here. Tamiflu does nothing or has minimal effect on the H1N1 virus. Just get the shot when it is available, it will be free, the government paid for it.

All this epidemic scare is just to push people to buy medication and make labs richer. It is unlikely you’ ll get much sicker than with normal flu, so relax.
