MDA Telethon:Why not start a Telethon for Alzheimer’s/ Dementia too?
MDA Telethon is great and I just made a pledge to the MDA Telethon.
I think what if someone started a Telethon for Alzheimer’s/ Dementia ?
How would someone start a Telethon for Alzheimer’s/ Dementia if they wanted to?
I am not a nurse or a doctor. I am a Lyme disease patient that wrote a brochure for my area about Lyme disease and co-infections. Over the years, many Lyme patients have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, ALS, MS, Lupus, and the list goes on and on. Late stage Lyme is treatable but not if it is never diagnosed as such. Will gladly email my brochure to anyone interested. Elaine
What a dumb comment. Most people are too retarded to even understand some of the most basic elements of science (and I include myself. I went to law school because I had an easier time learning the law than science). Furthermore, many people don’t like science (again, I include myself). What kind of contribution do you think a person would make if they had no interest in what they were doing? One passionate person can do more than ten who don’t care. That is the essence of innovation.
My dad just died of Alzheimer’s Disease in January of this year. It is truly the most devastating things a person can witness–and also a helpless feeling. He was diagnosed in 2003. This is a powerful video that brought me to tears knowing that this disease does not discriminate against anyone. Please pray for a cure!
If every humans/persons would spend 10 min of their life every day to keep up reseach of human biology there would be much faster new cure to many disease but people seems more intrested to waste it to something else….
Adagio in G minor by Albinoni
“Adagio in G minor for strings and organ is a piece arranged by Remo Giazotto and supposedly based on fragments from a Sonata in G minor by Tomaso
Giovanni Albinoni which were found amongst the ruins of the old Saxon State Library,
Dresden, after it was firebombed by the Allies during World War II. The Adagio was first published in 1958.”
Thank you, m
My uncle has had it for a few years now and he’s only 63. I can’t read what it says the music is called. Can anyone tell me? I expect to hear Maria Callas start to sing
It’s so sad that this disease takes so many. My Aunt has Alzheimer’s and my mother Dementia. It’s clear to see this disease discriminates against nobody!
