How accurate is a pregnancy blood test 7 to 8 days after conception?
ByMy friend had a blood pregnancy test done 7 to 8 days after possible conception and the result came back negative. She is still having pregnancy symptoms. She asked the lady who gave her the results and the lady said that the test should not be done until atleast 10 days after conception to be most accurate. How accurate is a pregnancy blood test 7 to 8 days after conception? Thanks in advance!

if the nurse said to wait 10 days, your friend should have waited 10 days….

You don’t even have pregnancy symptoms 8 days after conception. She’s probably just scared that she might be and tricking her body into thinking she is.

not accurate at all, implantation usually occurs around 7 or 8 days past ovulation, and a range from 5-12 days past ovulation, and then it takes a couple days for the hCG (pregnancy hormone) to be released into the blood…but this means that she would also not be feeling pregnancy symptoms either becuase its the hCG that causes them….otherwise it would be PMS….she should wait until her expected period to test, and should do a home test first…

I was told that a blood test can be done 9 days after conception and a urine test not until after the first missed period. I would definetly do a retest.

Mine showed results 5 days after I missed my period.
Try the EPT digital or the Clear Blue Digital=Always accurate if done at the right time.
