Tamiflu is to treat the flu. Your friend has the flu. He gets tamiflu.
Either he doesn’t really have flu like symptoms or he’s on the right medicine. Either way he’ll be sick for a while and then get better. That’s typically how being sick works. Tamiflu can cut the sick time in half.
