Posted by: | CommentsI’m trying to find out in order to help take care of some problems, but on the bottle it says do not take if you have ulcers or bleeding problems, yet I’ve seen other posts of people taking it with the disease. But I can’t find a single thing saying do or do not take it if you have UC. Help?
Is there any special diets for someone with ulcerative colitis?
Posted by: | CommentsSteriods, anti-inflamatories, anti-biotics (oral and rectally are not working). So I’m looking into special diets.
I mean, are they there forever? Do they get surgically removed? I went in for testing a few weeks ago and they were just… gone. All the swelling and puss and ulcers were gone. My doctor is puzzled, and said she’d never seen this happen before.
So, anyone with UC, help me out here. This has been bothering me since the test. =(

Posted by: | CommentsHow do you deal with this disease? Does yours become painful? How much does stress play a role with illness. Flair-ups do you get any warning sighns or does it just move into bleeding & mucus. Or do you just go by a change in bowl movements? Teenager just diagnosed with it.

Lerne mehr auf ucvlog.com! Meine Colitis wurde so schwer, dass eine Operation die einzig übrig bleibende Option war. Da ich so viele Medikamente bekommen hatte, musste man sehr langsam mit den Operationen machen. Die erste Operation beinhaltete meinen Dickdarm zu entfernen und einen Ileo-Stoma anzulegen. Die Untertitel sind zwar in Deutsch, allerdings kann ich diese Sprache nicht. Deshalb kann ich leider nur Fragen und E-Mails auf Englisch beantworten.

If steriods do not calm down the flare-up what would the next option be?
It feels like something is jammed in my intestine, and is extremely painful. The pain episode lasts around 3-5 minutes total, and is completely gone after the passing of a stool. Again this only happens around once a year and I’m trying to figure out what it could be. This happens with any food, typically with bbq, but doesn’t occur with every bbq. Any suggestions?
The stool is loose, and does not contain blood.
