Posted by: | CommentsI have recently been asked to create a list for the in-laws that I wish to get for christmas, and seeing as I will be pursuing a future as a medical doctor, I would love supplies that would prepare or even accompany me throughout my education. Here are a couple of examples of what I mean:
Stethoscope
Blood pressure cuff
Thermometer
A nice First Aid Kit
So, overall I just would like to know some ideas for simple, yet very useful items I should ask for Christmas. I’ve even found some cheap items that would seem pricey. Otoscopes that was one that was recommended as they actually are pretty cheap and durable. I think there are bargains anywhere, but I would love ideas! Thanks in advance
Should I see a doctor or a professional?
Posted by: | CommentsWhen I was younger (5-9) I was addicted to NyQuil, My father would give me adult dosages so I could sleep, Now when I turned 12 I would start sneaking the NyQuil so I could to sleep because if I didnt I would lay in bed for hours just full of energy, when I started High School I started buying 100mg seroquel’s that lasted for till the middle of my sophomore year. Now recently I have started taking sleeping aids again heavily (Excedrin PM’s Tylenol PM’s NyQuil seroquel and other drugs which I wont bother naming) I have always had trouble sleeping and I have mentioned it to my parents suggesting I have insomnia and my dad just laughs it off and says “you’re fine” the truth is Im not and I dont want to be hooked on these drugs just so I can sleep on average every night I take 4-5 Excedrin PM’s or 3 seroquels and a swig of NyQuil, if I dont take anything I get in a bad mood and stay up until 6:30am then I can fall asleep for a couple hours, also even when I do load up on sleeping medicine I still wake up all throughout the night at least 5-6 times

Posted by: | CommentsIt really hurts to breathe in and out deeply and it feels like my lungs are heavy. My mom wants to take me to the doctor to check for pneumonia, but I’m deathly scared of needles and drwaing blood! Lol. If it gets worse, I’ll definitely go to the doc, but I just wanted to know exactly how the doctor would check for pneumonia? Is it just an x-ray? Also, how would my doctor cure it?
we only get sci fi ,not BBC America .. so i guess we missed it. any help is appreciated.

I think i might be dying, need an online doctor please help!?
Posted by: | CommentsThis morning it felt like a morning sickness for not catching much sleep. Later at around 2:30 i could barely read text even if i pulled the screen right to my face, it looked like there was another set of the same letters slightly above overlapping the text and it was fuzzy. It kind of worn off and i can see the letters okay.
Around after eating some candy and drinking some punch and such about 3:00 hours later before i started watching a movie my throat was sore, scratchy, my nose stuffy, throat full of mucas and i thought i was just getting sick, i had some cough drops and they worked while i had them, i then became so tired i couldnt even get out of my couch to go to bed.
It feels like knifes are jabbing right through my eyes when i open them or blink and everything looks light. I could barely get up, i was dizzy and i couldnt keep my balence. My dad took my temp and im normal, is this more serious? I went to bed with my final cough drop and the mucas started to build up. My throat hurts like a biznitch and i still have all the symptoms.. It’s not past 3:00.. I tried sleeping for over 3 hours and couldnt catch a wink. I now feel violent, i want to hit things and slam my fists on the walls and i feel like im dying.
Grandma, cousin and dad are all asleep and i don’t want to wake them up. Please if anyone out there used to be or is a doctor can you please tell me whats wrong with me?
I’m 14 if that helps.
