Financial Aid trouble! Need help!?

Posted by: Doctor | Comments (2)

First, last semester (fall 08) I was lazy in school and I ended up pa*sing 2 of my cla*ses but getting an F in another. It was a stupid mistake and I deeply regret it. BUT I was not on financial aid for that semester (not sure if that makes a difference) I didnt file a FAFSA until Feb. and I only got the BOGW (Board of Governors Fee Waiver)

As of right now I am enrolled in 3 cla*ses (11 units total) at a community college. Last month, I got accepted into a Pre VN (vocational nurse) program at a different college. The Pre VN course starts later on this month, but my current cla*ses dont end until June. I think I want to drop 2 of my 3 cla*ses and receive a W. I know this will effect my financial aid. Once nursing school starts (that program doesnt officially start til June) I’m going to need Financial Aid because it will cost $3600 ($300 a month for a year). So when I file for Financial Aid again in June, I also plan to appeal but I want to know what do you guys think my chances are that the Financial Aid people will accept my appeal?

Oh and I dont want to wait for the next Pre VN course to start because that doesn’t begin til January of 2010.

Shingles Help?

Posted by: Doctor | Comments (0)

I went to the MD on Tuesday because the skin on my breast area, upper back, and lower back were hurting horribly (all on the right side of my body). The skin still hurts, and she gave me an anti-viral medicine to treat shingles. Is it possible to have shingles without having a rash? I have a few bumps here and there, but nothing like the pictures I’ve seen.
