Ten days later I had a tingling in my p***s. On the 11th day, I was tested for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia – and was negative. I had some strong discomfort for almost a week, sort of like the feeling you get after riding a bike. Shortly thereafter, I developed a mild rash in my genital area, which my doctor said was tinea. (Note I have no historical problems with tinea). At 50 days after exposure, I was tested for syphilis and herpes, both negative. At about the 3rd month I experienced a mild rash (red spots) on my chest and shoulders, and I also had a rash that looked like poison ivy on my leg, belly, arm, and chest, which my dermatologist diagnosed as poison ivy. (This “poison ivy” really itched at night.) Also at this time I experienced an increase in folliculitis on my back – more than usual – for which my dermatologist prescribed Amoxil for 3 months. (The antibiotics caused a mild case of thrush.) During months 3 and 4, I also experienced a mild sore throat (constant) and loose stool / diarrhea (literally for about a month and a half). Since then, this mild sore throat comes and goes, and swollen tonsils. Last fall I got into a biking heavily which may have been the cause of the irritation around by anus.

For the duration of the past 11 months, I have had a constant, mild swelling of the urethral meatus, which initially was quite uncomfortable. Something I have noticed in the last 3 months, is that the skin on my back now is unusually clear (even though I finished the Amoxil over 3 months ago). I do seem to develop quite a few small oral sores – where I apparently bite my cheek – which I did not notice occurring so frequently in the past. Also, I seem to have some general decrease in energy level, and rarely feel “great”.

I have had 7 HIV ELISA tests (most recent on 11/30/09, at nearly 7 and 1/2 months after exposure ), all negative. Yes, seven – one by my physician, one at a clinic, and five homeaccess tests. The test results have been negative every time, but the information on the internet keeps steering me back to HIV.

Right now as I write, I have a mild sore throat, whitish lines on the insides of my cheeks, a few oral sores, and my tongue is a little whitish towards the back. All along the way, medical professionals have told me that I am fine – not to worry – etc. But I am!

What do you think my problem is? What should I do at this point? Are there unrelated diseases I should consider?

Both myself and all the Mums I know who have had C-sections at our local Maternity Unit in the last few years have had either wound infections or bladder infections afterwards.

What is causing the infection rate to be so high and is the same across the country? Is it a particularly risky procedure, or are hospitals too dirty or were we just unlucky? I would have thought infection rates for this would be far lower than they seem to be. Something should be done about this. I live in the UK.

I have read that hiv amongst straight asian men is very low but wondered if this was true.

I’m tired of these pharmaceuticals. Can anyone direct me toward a RELIABLE and SAFE natural, holistic way to manage my blood pressure? It’s not crazy high, but due to other conditions I must keep it low.
