Why don’t the Medical Facilities in Gaza look after their wounded?
Posted by: | CommentsI was a medic in during the Viet Nam War. Our ambulances and field hospitals were used to transport the wounded. We were trained to work on the individuals with the least amount of wounds first because they could help us with the more severely wounded later. The dead was evacuated last. This is called triage and it is practiced all over the western world. I noticed that in the videos from Gaza that dead infants were transported to the hospital with great fan fare and a lot of men dressed as medical Personal were standing idly by as the corpse was brought in. The man walked by many empty stretchers and then placed it in one stretcher while the camera man took photos of the wounds. Why are they wasting Medical personnel and materials on the dead when there are over 5000 wounded Palestinians who desperately need the medical aid? Please explain that mentality to me; is it an Arab thing, Muslim, or just the brutal propaganda tactics of Hamas?
