I found out that this person is HIV +.
To clarify, it is more of a mild redness and soreness in my mouth rather than in my throat. I was just checked out his morning and I was told that nothing was wrong with with my mouth (despite some mild soreness when swallowing hard), but the redness appeared later this evening.
Gel Tab stuck in throat, Need Advice?
Posted by: | CommentsHi there, This has happened twice now, the first time I was able to cough it up after vigorous coughing. This time it is down to far on the left side of my throat by the top part of the adam’s apple.
These are quick dissolve sleepaid soft gel tabs. These kind of damn pills get stuck so easy.
I have eaten bread, and drank water to make sure it goes down. It still feels like its there, but it could be in my head.
If it’s still there, should I let it run its course and dissolve?
Yes, i make sure i drink it with the pill in a manner so that it does not get stuck, yet it still does.
my ears and throat itch!?
Posted by: | Commentsfor the past couple days, i’ve had this tickle in the back of my throat, that i can barely itch with the back of my tongue. today, my ears started itching and its like they’re both connected. I don’t have any allergies as far as i know. The only information i can give is that i’ve been feeling a little flu like the past few days. what could this be?
Sore throat should I go see the doctor?
Posted by: | CommentsFor the past 3 or 4 days I have had a really bad sore throat. It started out as barley noticeable, really only when I got up, which I just a*sumed was my allergies. Then the next day my throat was sore but it was not unbearable, I could live with it and I did not feel crummy and could go about normal activities. Then Saturday my throat was really sore. It hurt so bad in bed that it woke me up, but in bed it only hurt when I swallowed. When I got up it was still really sore. I took some advil and had been taken claritin in case it was allergies. The advil I think helped a little but when it wore off it hurt still. Then that night my throat felt better. I could swallow and it didn’t hurt very bad. But then when in bed again on Sunday it hurt again. Just as bad or worse than it did Saturday. But Sunday I felt awful. I was really tired and didn’t really want to do anything but sit in the chair or lay in bed. It started to feel a little better again that night but I still felt lousy. I was really tired so I went to bed at 9, which is really early for me. I slept pretty well until about 4 when my throat started hurting again. I am not sure if my sore throat woke me up or the storm that we had, but after that I did not sleep well. Then this morning when I got up my throat still hurt. It doesn’t really hurt as bad as it did previously but it does still really hurt. When I look in the mirror I can see that the right side of my throat is red and a little swollen and that is the side that hurts. Previously it was my whole throat that was sore but the right side seemed to always hurt more.
I think that it may be strep, but it is kind of out of season i would think plus I haven’t been around anyone with strep. I have been at home and nobody in my family has strep. Also I think that it is strange that my sore throat “goes away” (or the pain goes down) and then comes back. So I am not sure if it is strep.
My sister has a cold, but I don’t think I have her cold. I know they affect people differently but when she coughs it is really horrible sounding. I don’t really have a cough. The only time I cough is when I get this tickle in my throat. She has the sniffles but my nose is fine. She says that she does have a sore throat but I show no other signs of a cold.
I don’t know whether or not I should go to the doctors and get tested for strep. I don’t want to go just to have them tell me it is nothing they can treat,but at the same time I don’t want to just wait for it to get better. I read that if you don’t get treatment when you have strep it can lead to more serious health problems and that worries me that maybe I should go get a strep test. How long should I wait before going to the doctor? Should I go today, since I have already had a sore throat for 3 days or wait a day or two more.
Also I had a sore throat last week but it only lasted for about a day and then went away.
he has been complaining now that his eyes are hurting and he keeps rubbing them and crying. He is sitting with my husband while I am writing this, he’s not alone. Anyone have any experience with this?
Also, he is 3 years old, if that matters.
Swollen neck, throat and lymph nodes-please help!?
Posted by: | CommentsIt started about a week ago when i felt a little bump (maybe a swollen gland) on the back left side of my neck only-right below the back of the jaw. From that time to now, the gland (or lymph node) above it has swelled SIGNIFICANTLY. This morning I woke up with a strained left side of my throat only (it wasn’t sore, it just felt like i had pulled a muscle in my throat, and only in my left side). Now, about an hour later, I feel as if my whole left side of my throat is swollen and closing up. It is difficult for me to swallow and a little (not too much) hard for me to breathe. I had a sinus infection 3 weeks ago and went on penicillin for that and it seemed to go away. Also, I have never had my tonsils removed (never seemed to have a problem with them)
Please help, I can’t get to a doctor on Thanksgiving. Thanks.
